After spending most of her  life preparing for a singing career, Lincélie is happily emerging into the
limelight where her vocal and songwriting talents can shine. Her nine plus years of continuous classical
vocal training has prepared her pipes for any genre of music. Her
training includes classical, pop, rock,
opera, sight singing, and acapello music. Lincélie’s incredible vocal range can easily carry her from pop
to a soprano aria; however, her preferred style of music is pop and rock, which is evident in her original
songwriting and recordings, where she openly exposes her heart through her lyrics.

Through her powerful lyrics, Lincélie shares her life experiences, her joys and the challenges of growing
up in a world that is both beautiful and tumultuous
.  Her feelings are also reflected in her vocals.
Lincélie’s emotional vocals in the song "Just Leave" reflect a difficult yet final decision about ending a
relationship. Just Leave is also one of the featured songs on the album “Girls Against Abuse, Vol. 1”
which is a charity album featuring all female artists. All proceeds go to charities that are dedicated to
building lives free from violence.
She also lends her vocals to a second album, The Girls Against Abuse
(In Boots) - Live Acoustic Originals
, which was released in the spring of 2010

Lincélie, whose birth name is Lindsey Christian, is the youngest of five children and was born and raised
in Southern California. Her parents noticed her vocal talents at a young age
. A turning point came in the
third grade after she had a solo part in the song, American Pie. Through that performance Lincélie
developed a greater confidence in her singing ability. So much so that she taught the song to a Jazz band
at a wedding. They learned the song during their break and to the delight of the crowd 8 year-old
Lincélie performed it with everyone joining in for the chorus. She spent the remainder of the evening
playing percussion instruments with the band.  That evening the Band leader encouraged Lincélie’s
parents to get her involved in music
, which they did.

As a teen Lincélie drove over 50 miles one way to work with her vocal coach Linda Corwin. She laid her
first studio vocal tracks down at the age of 14. Since that time she has spent many additional hours in
the recording studio recording vocals and original music. The experiences have opened the door to
working with several producers and music professionals who have all contributed to her songwriting
and vocal performances.

She began singing professionally at restaurants shortly after turning 17 and currently writes and
records with producer Jason Brawner, formerly of American Idol.  “The number one quality I listen for
in an artist is their ability to touch people with their voice. That's exactly what attracted me to Lindsey
nearly three years ago. Since then, she has honed her craft so well that every one of her songs holds the
listener clear to the end and still leaves us craving,” says Jason. He produced her first CD, "Almost Live,
Acoustic Rock Originals," on Crown Canyon Records.

Lincélie  has an interest in sign language and deaf studies and spent two years in an outreach
performance group. She has the rare ability to reach out to the hearing impaired by simultaneously
singing and signing songs.

She appreciates all the support that she has received from family, friends, industry professionals and
her growing fan base. Though she has given up a lot of freedom to pursue her music, she is prepared to
invest even more as it all comes to fruition. Each day is a step closer to attaining her dreams and goals of
having a successful music career.

"Let the make up run down my face...soak me in I'm yours to take
I don't care if it's a big mistake...there's no better way to drown
So Let it rain...Let it rain..."
